Call for service user input to design a new logo for NCEL CAMHS
Date: 18 August 2020
By working together in the North Central East London (NCEL) CAMHS Collaborative, which launched in February 2020, NHS staff and service users seek to eradicate disparities in the quality of mental health care for young people across the region.
To ensure that the new NCEL CAMHS Collaborative is distinctive and identifiable across the whole region, the Collaborative has launched a competition for service users, carers and other experts by experience to design a logo.
The definition of a logo is 'a symbol or other small design adopted by an organization to identify its product or service'.
The challenge is to create something symbolically relevant for the whole region of London the Collaborative serves, as well as to get across the essence of what we strive for across CAMHS – to deliver a service in partnership with our service users, their families and wider social networks, and our collective desire to keep improving all the time.
A poster publicising the competition can be downloaded here. The deadline for completion of the designs is Friday 11 September. Submissions can be entered in any format, including as photographic reproductions.
We look forward to sharing all of the entries with you at the NCEL CAMHS Collaborative Away Day on Wednesday 23 September, when the final design will be chosen.
