Burgoyne Road Move
We have been providing Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services from St Ann’s Hospital and the Burgoyne Road sites for many years. Recently, however, some space at St Ann’s Hospital has become available and we have made the difficult decision to close the Burgoyne Road site in order to reduce our running costs.
We will continue to provide services from ‘H Block’ at St Ann’s (CAMHS), but will also in future provide services from Mulberry House (AOT). The move has given us the opportunity to provide space for staff who currently work across two sites to be based together and we hope this will provide some benefits both to our staff and service users.
Looking further ahead to the future, the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services will be part of the overall redevelopment of the St Ann’s site, which is currently in the early planning phase.
Haringey CAMHS AOT will be moving from H Block to Mulberry House, which is adjacent to the main entrance to the St Ann’s site. All other Haringey CAMHS teams will be based in H Block, where some are already located.
We have organised an informal coffee morning on the 23rd October 2018 at 1200p.m at the Burgoyne Road site. We would like to invite you to attend for more information about the relocation and for you to ask any questions you may have about the upcoming move.
You can also speak with your own CAMHS clinician, who will be able to answer your questions about the relocation, or signpost you to someone who can.
